Here is one I made. Took 8 sheets of 3/4" MDF and is SOLID!

I'd sure like to see them! That is one amazing desk! I bet that thing would cost at least a couple G's to purchase at a store?
Here's another one from a while back that is just beautiful. I would love to have something like this in my room. I don't have the equipment to fill a big console so a tabletop style desk is what I'll probably use myself. The desk is towards the bottom of this page.
