I just completed the construction part of my studio. To give you an overview starting with the vocal booth. Double walled with sound barrier between double drywalled inner wall. The control room is insulated with R13 and doubled drywalled. I am happy with the isolation of both room thanks to this forum. I have an idea of how I want to treat my control room and I really appreciate if one of the experts here would take a look at my skecth and give me their opinion. All 4 corners will be bassed traped with 703. The rear wall from foor to ceiling, the corners at the mixing station from ceiling half way to floor. Above mixing station will be 2 inch Aurelex. Walls between mixing station and doors will have a patch of 2inch Aurelex 60 X 48 (both sides of room). Rear wall will have a book shelf as a diffuser.

I dunno - looks good to me. Just be sure the corner 703 is as thick as you can manage. --Ethan
Thanks for taking a look Ethan.
