Cool, I'm gonna check ALL his videos. This man knows how to do it, and how to do it cheap! yeah, great advises. ps. Looks like that man is drunk on the video.. haha. (no, really) what a waste of precious Internet space.
What a total moron - and definitely drunk, stoned or most likely Both! I'm damm sure that just about any of us up here could 'piss him out of the ocean' - thankfully we're not subjected to anything he's recorded. Mind you at least it gives me the perfect opportunity to start using the signature I want, without any of you kind chaps taking it the wrong way! Regards, Lou. 8) ".....the differenece between a soundman and God? - God doesn't think he's a soundman"
what a herb. my only hope is that finger snaps sound that good in MY studio when its done.
thats what Adobe Premiere does for you... :-) overlay the snap samples recorded at the Capitol Records studio and you're all set...
Beat you guys to it! :D http://www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9606 (No one checks the Wombat Hole anymore?) :P But yes... interesting guy! It's almost as funny reading the transcripts at the bottom of the page - it's possibly even more incoherent than the actual videos! Having said all that, I'll be taking his advice and ONLY putting in Behringer ADAs, SM58 mics (well, apart from that 1 vocal mic they use in the biggest studios), making sure I have a hole in the wall between the tracking room and control room (who needs windows?) and of course, putting carpet on the walls. That foam stuff is expensive! Yo! Carpet! Why not? I'll let you guys know how it turns out! :) *takes another swig*
