Hello All,
I've been reading this amazing forum for a while now, and though I might put a question to you. I'm not all that happy with the saound of my control room, and was hoping to change the layout and add a few sound absorbers here or there.
It's basically a house bedroom (10mm dry wall, 70mm hollow walls, 2400mm high ceiling).
I think a couple of absorbing panels on the walls and in the corners could help. It would have to be semi-permanent.
I've attached a layout (some of those single racks could be ditched). Any advice would help.
Thanks to you all.
Regards,
Anthony.

hey there,
thanks for the (speedy) tip. that was the direction i was heading, but i'll need to keep the big 3 bay rack! as you can see, it's tight on space. i like to have the effects rack behind me rather than to the side, but i'm will to compromise.
cheers,
anthony.
i agree with Kendale. put the desk on the window. add a heavy drape if you need it.
hey glenn, thanks for the layout.
are the side absorbers and clouds simply insulation filled panels covered by fabric? and are those slot resonators in the corners?
i think i could do this one pretty easy. might even start on it this weekend.
cheers,
anthony.
they're all just 703 type absorbers. just cover the rigid fiberglass (3lb-6lb, 2-4") in cloth and hang.
