Anyone know where I can get rock wool in the Eastern PA area (even New Jersey)... Also, is Rockwool a must for walls that are framed 3" from a concrete basement wall? And the wall that seperates the control/live rooms? Any help would be great!

Brad, if you're insulating the walls then just use fluffy fiberlglass - there's no reason to throw away money on rockwool. Rod

Thanks Rod. I was thinking that, but wasn't sure. What R Value should I get?
Get whatever they are made to fit in the walls - r-13 for 2x4's - r19 for 2x6 - etc, Rod

Thanks for the response Rod. I actually have 4 bundles of R-11 insulation, although it's NOT Owens Corning, and it's not pink. White actually... Will this be ok, or is O.C. what I need?
Brad, Also if you do have insulation needs in the future (like maybe to build sound absorbers and want OC 703, etc) SPI in Lancaster, Pa stocks all sorts of insulation (and I am sure even Rockwool) and will sell directly to you. I soon have to make a trip there as I live right outside Harrisburg. Lancaster, PA [removed] Suite B Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17601 [removed] [removed] FAX [removed] As for your walls, if its framed within in a basement, what R factor is required???? Like Rod stated, get what the size of the stud calls for (what fits). Hope this info helps. AJ

Brad, The manufacturer doesn't matter - it will be fine. Rod
