Hello I got two rooms, and I need alot of help making them, control and Live room, the rooms are side to side with a door each, each its 11x10 and 7 feet to the ceiling, the walls are made out sheetrock and the floor its concrete unpainted, the ceiling its free floating, the wall between the two its just sheetrock on 2x4 studs (THe owner will not let me take it off, but he will let me put a door or window if needed). I attach a copy of the sketch but Im afraid not too much to see, I will like to see how you guys will make this a Control room and a Live room, I will record everything from rock to rap, drums to light vocals, my budget its about $500 for acoustic treatment and some mods (window or door), Oh by the way the building its in a pretty quiet area so outside noise its not realy a issue. if anything I miss please let me know..
THank you for all the help and God bless

What do you mean by " free floating" in reference to the ceiling?

Hey guys just a quick ??? I found this design searching in the forum, my rooms are smaller 10x11 each, so I will rather not take away any space from the room, what are you guys thinking for Acoustic treatment? maybe 2 24x48 703 DIY panels per wall?
Help?
you can start with the 2 per wall but i'd say start in corners to ensure you get the best bass trapping and then add absorbers to cut echos or first reflection points.
