first post. wooo!. i just got 18 of these from a friend. i'm not certain they are even usable for what i'm aiming to do. are these usable? my friends brother was an hvac guy who got them from a live auditorium....these were flown to control overhead reflections. the goal is just to reduce reflections, and contain some sounds in the room. not overly concerned w/ tone yet. just trying to kill some sounds for the neighbors. 4'x2'x 2" filled w/ thick dense yellow insulation. (one was torn, i took a peek). they have 2 grommets. usage considerations.... 1. adding an angle between the wall and ceiling around the live room. something like this.... (sorry for the angle there) another perspective: 2. vertical. angled away from wall closer to ceiling/floor, depending on what you say...... 3. just hang them on the wall? 4. baffles hung vertically, at opposing angles.... i'm very curious to see what you have to say! thanks

Sure. The best way to use these is as corner bass traps. You also need to double them up to be four inches thick, so then you'll have only nine. You don't have to glue them together or anything - just place them adjacent and stack them up in wall-wall corners, and hang them in wall-ceiling corners. --Ethan
