STEEL FRAME OR WOOD?

I am in trying to figure out which would be better for a home studio that will be build out a 2 car garage. If thoughts would be much help. Thanks. J
I prefer timber, it is more rigid, easier to attach to, and to seal. cheers john
I agree with John, and will add one more reason I prefer wood - In order for steel framing to be costs effetive it has to be lightweight - at least in this part of the world anyway......... Lightweight steel (25ga) iso walls do not have the same TL values for LF transmissions as wood frame - and this is our problem area when it comes to isolation. Rod
