Helmholtz designs

We have a wall that we would like to build a helmholtz absorber on. We will be using the wall itself as the back of the helmholtz. Here is a very crude sketch of the design, we would like to make it broadband. Would a shape such as this be acceptable? thanks :-)

:) Torture, I've seen your picture at least 10 times already, and still wonder what exactly I'm looking at.
Here is a very crude sketch of the design
:lol: Depending on my mood I see chunks with a gap in-between meant for a corner, but with cutoff corners. With a lot of fantasy I see slats with much too wide slots. On which side is that wall meant to be? People can't look in your head ....
you could search around the site for numerous examples, but yes, you can use the wall for the back of the resonator. in this example the walls are all backing up the resonators.
