i was speaking with a ready mix concrete about ordering concrete for my footings gave all dimensions etc all fine . but needed a pump for the concrete so he was going to call me back with when he could get the pump. i was out but my brother took the call and sorted the date, as i asked him to do. but he told my brother somthing about getting a bag of cement / dusting ?. does any one know why this is? thanks for any help.
any ideas people. thanks
Joey, you should call him back to verify (a single bag sounds a bit low to me - but he must want you to have the material to make a slurry mix - which is sort of like greasing the hoses before they try to pass the concrete through - it helps to stop the aggregate from getting stuck......... Rod
cheers rod. called him this morning and it was for priming the pump. ive got a few more bags of cement as well.
