Stupid question but I am serious.
Large rolled up carpet in the corners? Will it work?

Why don't you try it and let us know what happens. :) Seriously, I'm sure it will help at least a little, but the same money spent on bags of fiberglass batt insulation will work a lot better. --Ethan:lol: Stupid question but I am serious. Large rolled up carpet in the corners? Will it work?
WOW. my first post and a response from Ethan himself. Thanks!
The only reason I'm considering this is because it would be quick, easy and no mess involved. Also I could wrap them in a nice fabric and they would look cool. I still have to impress the visitors.
I do alot of club music and the advances/pay from these indi lables are small so I have to mix my own stuff to make it worth while. Bass is probably the most important factor when mixing music that will be played on mega huge club systems so I have to do something about my acoustics while still making the mortgage.
Also the idea of cutting up fiberglass in my home with two babies walking around does not thrill me.
When I make my first million I'll buy some of your products but till then.....
OK, then you should work with products that work instead of trying to come up with a method that is kind of "ghetto". :D Really stacking rolled up fiberglass (as Ethan pointed out) will work pretty well. Either that or build some panels outside and put them in the room. GlennBass is probably the most important factor then.....
