Hi everyone!
This is THE best forum on earth IMO. I'm in the planning stage of building my production studio in our house. It's going to be located in the basment.
I'll be glad if someone could give me some pointers if I really need bass-traps in every four corners of the controlroom (hollow spaces shown in the picture). The roof will slope slightly towards the front of the controlroom since I've read that paralell surfaces is not good at all.
Please give me som input. Is there something I have forgotten besides putting the doors and speakers in place. Will do that tonight.

Aloha and welcome to the forum,
In a room that size you will need as much bass trapping as you can get. You may also want to consider side wall slat resonators and perhaps a couple of clouds over the mix position as well.'ll be glad if someone could give me some pointers if I really need bass-traps in every four corners of the control room (hollow spaces shown in the picture).
You may want to consider a similar kind of treatment for your iso booth as well - slat resonators/bass traps/cloud. Here are a couple of good sites for more info - http://www.johnlsayers.com/HR/index1.htm - [slat resonators, bass traps] http://www.saecollege.de/reference_material/index.html - [Be sure to click on the "acoustics", "absorbers" & "construction" tabs in the left margins, and the tabs that appear at the top] Hope this helps, Aloha 8)Please give me some input.
