Hey guys, i'm, using Knauf Rocksilk universal slab for my insulation and wondered if i could also use this to build my absorbers.

it should work although it would be easier to predict (somewhat) if we knew what the density of these were... from the Knauf site I could only find a range in the datasheet.

I agree with gullfo, it *should* work, but short of specs or someone actually measuring the performance it's hard to say for sure. This product is not on Bob Gold's site, either....
Thanks guys, I'll find out on monday what density it is. Is there an optimum density I should look for?
I will try to source some of the tried and tested products people on here have already used.

I found out today the RS80 im using in 80kg/m3 i dont know if this makes it more suitable.
thats about 5pcf (for imperial minded folks) so it should work.
