As i explained in another post, my recording studio is in a flood area.
So i have to manage the installation with the right materials, and here comes the choices of mineral wool protection against water:The only solution that i found, was to protect rockwool panels with plastic reinforced bags !
The only thing is that i don't have any idea about how the effectiveness of sound isolation, would be affected in that case.
Would rockwool panels act as a cavity resonance absorber the same way, as without plastic protection?
May the plastic around change its absorbing properties?
Thank for any idea/supposition
Is rockwool put in plastic bag as effective as without?

Don't do it.
I answered this in the other thread you started.
