Hello, I'm new here at the forums and I would like some input for my studio. I am currently recording in a very very small attic so please bear with me. Also, the ceilings are angled and I will be as detailed as possible. This isn't really about construction since adding anything will make the room smaller. However, an idea of where I should have my desk, monitors, etc. would really help. As you can see, the ceilings "ruin" pretty much everything about this small room. Here are the dimensions of the room: Now about the ceilings..The highest tallest point is about 6.25' while the lowest point is about 4' As of now, we have very limited budget so I wouldn't spend anywhere more than $200 (im only 17 :x ) if there's any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask. thanks, mikhail edit: Also, we plan to have a couch/fouton added somewhere..Thanks

thank you for the reply! the problem is, only one side of the ceiling is angled. how weird would the sound be? would it be unnatural?
mikhail - could you build something like this?? The slots will break up the horizontal parallels and suck up some low mids. Fill the wall directly behind you will heavy insulation to stop the immediate rear reflections. You could also add insulation to the flat area of your ceiling. cheers john
