The more I build the more questions I have ;) 1) Should I use acoustic caulk between the cement floor and bottom wood frame before I attach the drywall - or only caulk between floor and drywall once it's installed? 2) Once the first layer of drywall is up, do I have to mud the drywall screws as well as the joints for an better acoustic seal (no one will see the screws once the 2nd layer of drywall is up)? Cheers, Dingo

It's a waste of time and money t do this - just wait until after the 1st layer of drywall is up. [ Just the joints - the screws are fine..... Rod
Thanks Rod for the super quick response! That's a great help (& relief!). Cheers, Dingo
