Premade Treatment:

Hey All, This is mostly for the Aussies, i've come across this company from Brisbane called Fonic. Any word on the quality of their products or if it works well or at all? I'm mostly looking into the Bass Traps Cheers, Beck.

A quick glance at the site tells me this might be a company worth looking into. They seem to understand basic room acoustics and have products designed to meet those needs. Plus, they're a Green Glue dealer, which can't hurt. I'd investigate more, but after a quick glance it looks promising.

Thanks, i'll probably head up there a check out their products. I wasn't too sure as i know most users on this board like the DIY panels etc and avoid the foam products.

True, in general I prefer rockwool, rigid fiberglass, or cotton to foam, simply because foam is unpredictable, you aren't sure what you are getting unless you see good test results (like what Auralex does.... they are generally regarded as the king of foam mountain). But this company is smart enough to post test results on their products, and they look to be reasonably effective, especially in the low-end range. This tells me that this company is generally concerned about dealing in effective products. Their corner bass absorber, with the mid-bass absorber behind it, is pretty much a similar design to superchunks. Personally, I am definitely more of the DIY variety, but if you are looking for premade products these could be interesting.
