hi, Id like a really big help from you on getting me right in the track! I have a room that i will use as a bedroom for me and my little daughter and that's the only space i have to go on doing some mixing, mastering, recordings jobs. This bedroom needs space for a bed, a baby's cradle, a rack (Aprox. measures in meters of: H 1,7 / L 2 / W 0,7) for cds, books and others objects and a table for the monitors, keyboard, mouse and others equipments. My doubts are: How to maximize the use of the space available that i have for the best sound possible? where to put absorbers and the diffusers? Do i need diffusers or only absorbers? summarizing... what's the best layout and acoustic treatment that should i do/have? here are the measures of the room and 1st attempt layout... the space in green is where i suppose to have to treat, but of course i'm not sure if this is the best layout thx in advance

i got the measures for the bed, baby's cradle and the rack... here they are: bed: W - 94cm L - 2,1m baby's cradle: W - 73cm L - 1,36m rack: W - 54cm L - 1,41m H - 1,5m
i tried to upload a sketchup file but it exceeds 500k, it's 606k, i could not make it smaller than 524k zipping/rar-ing it, the draw is really simple, how can i do sketchup files smaller? I tried to do it simpler but could not get less than 602k :/
PLEASE, could anyone to help me?
massili - that's probably the best layout you got. I'd treat it like this cheers john

what dead treatment i would put on the rear wall? high freq absorber only?
yes - heavy insulation. You could add some slots tuned to the low mids to help break up the parallel walls as per this pic. cheers john

I thought that the side absorbers would be better if were movable so i can set it when i have to work the dark red would be high freq absorbers and light red med absorbers and the bass traps at the corners on the rear wall i thought in doing the botton diffusers and the top high and med freq absorbers what do u think? there is anything i'm doing wrong or that i could do in a better/another way?
