sorry if this is answered somewhere, i been searching, but i can't seem to find a definite answer. i've seen pictures of a few people doing this, but not sure if it's okay. 1. Is it okay to put 'trim' around the speakers if they are flush mounted? similar to this picture. my soffits, so far (maybe complete?!?!) are the second picture.

hmmmm. those posts were a good read. and so far, i have everything pretty good-to-go. i know everything says the bezel needs to be flat, i'm just wondering how much 1/4" or 3/8" trim around the speaker will affect anything. (unless i missed a specific answer somewhere in those posts) most likely i WON'T do the trim around it, and it'll look fine. i think i WILL, however, put trim horizontally separating the cedar planks with the fabric covered 703, and to neaten up where the planks meet the ceiling. anyone have any issues with this? or any other comments on the trim around the speakers?
