Hi, Following from design section in : www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8229 I am now considering the build. Here are a couple of pictures, also showing the outline of the studio in red, a new doorway (you can see the door ready to go in). You can see my chalk lines on the floor outlining the CR, and a separate shot of the practice room, which will double as drums or practice room. Have a fair amount of work on the building structure before I can begin on internals. You can see new roofing sheets, which need to go on top of the existing. This is to provide better heat insulation, as well as dealing with condensation which is inevitable with a single skin roof, even although it is sprayed with foam treatment. There is also a couple of leaks, which will be cured as well. Some drainage below the new doorway will need some attention, as well as drainage out the back is not too clever. Oh yes, and we have some furry friends to deal with - rats! Louis.
