My new studio

Hi everyone im new on this forum and really need some advice Im building a studio in my garden. Im getting a prefabricated concrete double garage with a sloping roof. Im using if for basic recordings but mainly a practise room. The building will have double glazed windows and doors (but no typical large garage doors). I need to make sure there is not too much sound leakage....... Is there anything i can do to stop the sound leaking outside of the building as i have very 'noise sensitive' neighbours. Im totally a noob when it comes to this sort of thing so please be gentle :oops: Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanxxx

Hai Funeral, welcome to this forum. Sure there's solutions for that, that's what this site/forum is all about! (you came to the right place). The whole basics for isolating sound has been addressed here in depth. Take a few days off to read and get updated. Read them stickies first.
