Greetings all,
Over in my design thread I'm contemplating using inside-out walls.
I'm having a hard time visualizing how inside-out walls (and ceilings) would connect together and maintain airtightness.
Does anyone have a diagram of the joinery, preferably of a tricorner?
inside-out wall joinery?

I had the same question in my design thread but yep it really belongs here.

It's pretty simple really
cheers

ding!
Thanks, John... now I get it.
One more question, though: by "seal" do you mean caulk?
Another question: what if the left-hand wall in your diagram is also of the inside-out design?
Can you make all the walls -- and the ceiling, for that matter -- inside-out and get it together easily?
to seal i think you should use backer rod, then caulk
yes - it's been done many times. Check out sideshow's Kangaroo studios in this forum, or left bank studios. cheers johnCan you make all the walls -- and the ceiling, for that matter -- inside-out and get it together easily?
Excellent, thanks John.
I couldn't see much detail in the photos for the Left Bank construction, but in the Sideshow thread, the following pics have been most helpful for me to really grok this:
