I have a loft area that I'm converting into a control/listening room.
It is the end of a hip roof building, so there are some angles and rooflines that I haven't seen here a lot.
I've tried to apply a lot of the things I see working for others.
I am thinking about building a superchunk trap in the top of the ceiling peak.
I have a false ceiling shown, would it be worthwhile to hang some baffles between the false ceiling and superchunk in the peak?
Should I go full absorption or slat trap between the speaker soffitts?
I plan on making the back wall pretty much absorptive.
Monitors are Mackie 824's. How's my monitor height?
Please excuse my sketchup skills (or lack of). It really is a fun program.
Thanks for any ideas/ advice in advance.
Sketchup of loft control room. Advice greatly appreciated.
