Are my acoustics in order?

Hi all! I have finally finished designing my model control room http://www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8459 and i was wondering whether all my trapping will absorb too much of the high frequencies?? i have played with the various calculators and it seems that the decay times (rt60) are pretty much in order, and i'm following ethan's mantra that you can never have enough bass traps / absorbers - i'm just worried that all of the absorbers might suck out too much of the high's and mids. I will be wrapping the 703 in thin painter's 'drop sheets' (plastic) as i don't want any dust to get out... i have heard this slightly diffuses the highs anyway also - i have the chance to make my side wall absorbers 100mm 703 / 705 with a 50mm airgap - they are currently 50mm 703/705 with 50mm airgap. Is this extra mass needed?? Your ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Calculators are useful for initial design, but the only way to really know what you have now is to measure RT60 versus frequency. If it's uniform over most of the audible range, you'll be in good shape. > I will be wrapping the 703 in thin painter's 'drop sheets' (plastic) as i don't want any dust to get out... i have heard this slightly diffuses the highs anyway < Plastic reflects, but it doesn't diffuse. > Is this extra mass needed?? < It's not the "mass" but simply having more absorbing material. Yes, I'd say adding more will be useful. --Ethan
