Hey all. I am building a studio in my unfinished basement, and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas how to do it.
I think I just need a control room and a vocal booth to record R&B pop vocals. Below is the space I am working with.
1. What do you think would be the best way to divide it up?
2. What's the best way to finish it? Do I need certain walls/doors etc? Right now its unfinished so I can do whatever I want, and the floor is concrete.
No budget, as a family member will be doing whatever we need.
Unfnished basement needs high end studio -best way to fnish?

post this in the design forum here and you'll get more help
here's a good idea: take some time to read this forum. There's lotsa GREAT info to be found.
Come back when you have more specific questions and, perhaps, a sketch or idea for you room. You might also wanna check John L Sayers finished studios to get a hint of what's posible.
24x14feet seems like a small space, but enough room to do a room-split to create CR (control room) and recording room. Good luck!
Okay, that's what i'll do. Thanks anyway for trying.
