Will this work as Butyl galzing tape?

It is difficult to wait 5 to 7 days for ground shipping to get Butyl glazing tape online, so I found this. Does any body think it will work as glazing tape? went to 3 custom glass shops and 2 auto body shops, as I was told to, and none of them even heard of Buytl glazing tape exept one who told me they don't use that anymore, that it is old technology.
