Hey there, I am converting a 40ft steel storage container into a recording studio. The container will be split into 3 rooms: an office, a live room and a control room. I am in the early stages of a business plan and I am in need of some advice for the best and cheapest way to soundproof and insulate the inner walls. I am going to use rockwool flexi slab 50mm for the studding insulation but I am unsure as to what type of soundproofing material I will put between the outer container walls and the inner walls. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. My sketchup designs are below. Many thanks Jon

Most folk use drywall, since it gives you the most soundproofing for the least amount of money. You can learn more here and by reading this site and searching this site. Look at how others built their studios and posted it on this site.
Hey there, Thanks for the advice . I will check that out. Much appreciated Jon
