Noob Question?

Hi, I first would like to start off by saying how amazed I am at john and the admin wealth of knowledge it is great to know that you guys are willing to share your information to aid other and for the knowledge I have gained from your site already I thank you. Now this is really stupid question, but as my mother says there no such thing, I have been working in and out of studios and now am about to venture into the counstruction of my own facility, very basic a lobby, control room, and vocal booth. But what I can't understand is how to creat a port in which to transfer mic cables and headphone cables from control room to booth without destroying all efforts at isolation. I also have no clue as how to ventalate the booth without running into the same problem. I'm sure there is a very simple answer, I guess it's something I over looked when beginning my preperation. Any help would be great!!! :D

I'm sorry for my lack of research it took me awhile but after looking through the site I found exactly what I was looking for and realized I posted this in the wrong section but no matter. You guys are great, so much information its hard to take it all in!!!! :)
