Hi. How's going all Bros. I am new to this forum, and this is my first post. I am planning to build a studio. I've got a place where is in a factory building. Here a big question comes to my head. Next to the room, there are factories that has big machine going up. It makes some amount of noise. I can deal with the noise with acoustic isolation. However, It has slightly structural vibration. And, i dont have idea and no knowledge about how to solve this problem. I know with that kind of slightly vibration might produce some very low freq. Please give me some advices. Thanks so much! And I will upload the floor plan within a week. Best, Kit
Aloha and welcome to the forum! :D Congrats on your studio build! Any chance you could please:
Edit your profile to include your location. This is very important, because this is a worldwide resource, and as such, material costs and availability vary widely. For example, masonry is cheaper than gypsum in some parts of the globe, whereas it's the exact opposite in other regions.
You'll probably get more of a response by doing so and this will really come in handy two or three posts down the road. It's also part of the forum guidelines. Thanks! For more info, check out both of these links- http://www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7572 http://www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3231 Looking forward to your build!
