Best Size and Shape of a control room and live room

Hi I am in the process of writing a presentation on studio design and id like some advice on the best size and shape of a live and control room. The rooms are thoretical so im just wanting ideas of what everyone thinks is the best size and shape and maybe some examples of your own studio dimensions

Look at some of John's designs, in the stickys. His control room shape remains pretty consistent through most of his designs.
