So, here is a waterfall graph showing the frequencies over time. Waterfalls certainly pinpoint the resonant frequencies very clearly and shows what they do over time -- which is never decay :-) I have labeled the resonant frequencies as pulled from a Room Mode calculator. This graph verifies - hey, in a cube+closet room - the math checks out pretty accurately. This is for the above room w/ partially divided open closet area, all drywall, typical framed construction etc. as pictured earlier in this thread:

Here is what I tested in the room - very down and dirty Superchunk, basically rockwool in its packaging (no compensation here for HF reflection, but I don't see much of any further HF excitement cause of it) stacked 2 bags high - making it about: 18"x16"x8' in each corner and some shoved in the closet area too... Graph: Mustard Yellow line = Empty Room Curve Red line = Treated Room Curve (Down n dirty Superchunk'ed) Not exactly *prettiest* Superchunks, but that is partially its greatest virtual... maybe these aren't dense enough or not enough surface area covering the corners - or other areas that are still untreated in the room are adding to overall situation of the curve from 240hz down... Thoughts?
