Not really - but if I'm correct in assuming that those rear soffits are for your rear surround speakers, it looks like they will be closer to your ears than the front speakers. Ideally, all 5 speakers should be the same distance from your head - but if you're using a surround controller that offers variable speaker delay, you can compensate for the different speaker distances...
