Best heat recovery ventilator?

Anyone have experience with any particular model? I have read about 2 units on this forum that others have found... this one for $540 http://www.smarthome.com/3033a.html and this for $800 http://www.energyfederation.org/consume ... 0_407_1307 The cheaper one claims to have better efficiency and can exchange the air nearly as fast (the slow setting would be good enough for me anyways since my room is rather small at about 1350 cubic feet). Efficiency is a big deal to me because i'm hoping to not have to worry about heating or air-conditioning. With central air in the rest of the home, when it's really cold or really hot here in PA, the basement seems to be relatively comfortable. I'm just worried this will change with the mechanical ventilation. Biggest concern of course is the instruments and equipment :-) The cheaper unit may not dehumidify but I will have a seperate dehumidifier anyway. Any thoughts?
