Hello, Studio has been completed out if 140mm concrete block, just at the rendering stage right now, live room has just been rendered using sand and cement at about 30mm thick to improve soundproofing to outside/seal walls for any future dampness etc etc Problem I have found is that its made the room much liver?!? Like alot, walls are all at different angles so its not a bad resonance just alot brighter, I just wondered if anyone else had experianced this?? Plan is to leave it as a concrete finish and seal it to keep the industrial feel. Is it due to the walls being dead flat now rather than the surface being pitted concrete block Thanks for your help my friend :) J
it's mainly because you've rendered and sealed the concrete block so more of the sound is staying in the room. cheers john
