Sketchup 6 Released !

Just noticed that google released Sketchup 6 (free) and Sketchup 6 Pro. Some really cool new features: http://download.sketchup.com/GSU/relnotes/gsuw.pdf The 'force inference' feature is something I've really been waiting for... :)

yeah, I noticed that too. However, I could only find the PRO version. hmm, think I've gotta look better.. gonna check again. <edit> ah, here's the link to the free google version.. http://sketchup.google.com/download.html

grrrr.... still no linux version

Good news! Since there still is no Linux release.... grrr. I've been able to run Sketchup on my Linux laptop by installing Virtualbox, installing WindowsXP inside that and Sketchup in there. It's working well, though I haven't yet tried a serious, big-time model in it.
