digi mixing room

I have this room that I want to use for mixing editing and midi production but it needs treatment for acoustics. I have an Idea for slats. I have no problems with noise coming in or going out the walls are well sealed and insulated I have no windows, just 1 door entrance. I have a wall mount a/c 5000 btu low noise . the room messures inside width 7ft 5 in lenth 15ft 4in cieling 7ft2in

Thanks thats great but the door entrance is on the left corner side and Im sorry I did'nt explained that it has a door there. Here is what it looks like.

Aloha, Shack studio 3.jpg is closer. :D You might want to go with "cloth over insulation" sections in the circled areas. This would include the face surface of the rear bass traps. Also, you may want to have a door between the bass traps with an absorber unit on the studio side door. Hope this helps, Aloha 8)

Hello. I like the "foyer" idea. I would add that the distance from the rear wall to the rear absorption should equal a quarter wave to the total room length so you have 180* of diffusion at the room mode at 60% surface area. Should almost eliminate that fundamental mode and the slat resonators can handle the harmonics.
