in my country, a fiberglass can be ordered with factory pre-sealed with a polyethylene film. the service or the fiberglass is called P.E sealing in my opinion, it is broken english. P.E sealed is correct instead of P.E sealing anyway, this product is often used in apartment insulation application and the P.E sealing service fee is extremely low. the film thickness is 30 micron first of all, the benefit is that i don't need any mask or protective stuff against fiberglass and i can place them without fabric. because the film wrap the whole fiberglass tightly .as far as i know, they are vacuum packing. i once saw in this forum that fiberglass can be wrapped with garbage bag or garden plastic. and i 'd like to use the p.e sealed 2" 48k (3pcf) fiberglass as a insulation between studs and celing flooring joists and use the P.E sealed 4" 48k (3pcf) fiberglass as a corner bass trap ,slat resonator corner trap and use the plain 1/2" 48k (pcf) fiberglass as a panel bass trap This could go the right way? P.s in the states is there a similar service such as P.E sealing?
any links to that product? Looks to me like if it's VACUUM (read: maximum compressed) sealed it'll do ziltch with absorbing. Furthermore, wrapping them with fire retardant cloth is safer. (plastic will just melt when heated and is a very nasty when you get it on your skin while burning/melting...)

The stuff is not on the web. and here is not america sorry its thickness is 30 microns ,0.03 millimeters
This should work fine for acoustic treatments - but for inside the walls, standard density un-faced fiberglass insulation(for partition walls) or paper faced fiberglass insulation (for outside walls) is usually quite a bit cheaper and works as well. By "standard density" I mean typically 0.8 to 1 PCF, or 12-16 kg... Steve
