I'm about to order IsoMax clips and hat channel, and I stumble upon these:
http://www.soundproofing.org/options_in ... lation.htm
a quarter of the way down are "Aero-Support" clips or "A-S" clips.
it says they can handle more weight, with less clips, and overall better decoupling. . . but i know not to trust this site too much.
i'd like to make my order tomorrow, any immediate answers?
thanks,
Mike

Stick with standard RSIC clips and hat channel - "soundspoofing.scam" is full of crap on most of their "info", and these are no different from what I see. For one thing, they talk about the "other" methods taking more living space - how else do they think you're gonna sound proof, since the depth of the air space is the ONLY thing, other than mass, that affects low frequencies by any serious amount? Jeez, why can't the freakin' hackers that screw up OUR site find THAT one, and FINISH the job??!? Steve
