Ok this is a bit of a challenge but I will try my hardest to explain what exists right now. The outside walls of the building are solid brick wall about 8" thick then a small airspace of about 2" then about 4" of brick again. From there they have 7" (2 layers of R-12) of pink insulation with offset 2x4 framing, vapor barrier then one layer of 1/2" drywall. This is all before any studio work begins and I am trying to figure out how much sound this will be keeping out of the building to know how much I need to invest in blocking more sound from the studio. Is this enough info for you to help me figure this out? If not, I will try my hardest to answer any questions you may have.

Trying to figure out my sound isolation

There are too many variables to answer your question.
By writing "how much sound this will be keeping out of the building," I assume you're mean you are focused on preventing outside noise from leaking into the studio. Does that mean you do not care at all about keeping the noise from the studio from leaking to the outside of the building?
What are the conditions outside of the studio? How loud is the environment? Are you next to a busy street? A freeway? Train tracks? An airport? A high school with a sports field that is totally exempt from local noise ordinances and a PA system they use at sporting events with reckless impunity?
Oh, sorry... That was our last house...
Are you on the ground floor? What's overhead? Remember that sound doesn't just travel sideways. Your walls are only part of the equation.
