Claims to be a visco-elastic damping material? Has some technical literature on the website. Not looking to use this instead of GG, but its an interesting product.
I've reviewed the Web site.
In short: No specs, and no independent lab tests.
Maybe someday they'll get around to doing that, and then we'll all rejoice.
Until then, I've filed it away in my "unproven so-called soundproofing products" bin...

agreed... Also, wouldn't you create a third leaf effect by sandwiching it between drywall layers if you only used small pieces as they recommend? This would leave about an 1/16-1/8 airgap between drywall unless you fully covered the total sheet?? Or not?
It very well might. What makes such a tiny gap between second and third bad is its tendency to increase resonance of the panels... Which is something the maker of the product claims it absorbs. The real question is whether it solves the problem better than it creates it... And the burden of proof is upon them that it works, not on us that it doesn't.
