Hi all I have a surround post suite 6.34 x 3.21 x 2.65. Currently I am using a combination of Ethan's minitraps (3 at the front and 3 at the rear) and some auralex foam for first reflection points. I'm planning on making corner absorbers where possible (see sketchup for issues) as per John's design. There are only three corners that I can really use corner absorbers, as well as the large floor/front wall space beneath the front window and similarly at the back wall/floor. Since the room's length to width ratio is almost exactly 2:1 the room modes are compounded so I am wondering about putting panel traps where I can on the side walls. Any advice on where to put the absorbers to keep some symmetry? Part of the problem is that the window is very close to the edge of the wall and I also have two doors and an internal window along the left side wall. The ceiling is concrete as are the support beams running down the two right hand corners and across the front wall/ceiling. Flooring is linoleum on concrete. The conduit midway up two of the walls is metal as runs mains and cat5. Thanks to John, and all the other regualr posters for making a great site. mudrock
