hot to get a nice sounding recording room out of this place?

There is carpet on all of the walls and on the ground. Its height is about 3 meters, i think. Now I need some advices, what I have to do to turn this into a nice sounding recording place. (I know that it never wont sound like a treated big studio room, but I want to get the best out of it). I want to use it for drum recordings, guitar amp recording and reamping, vocal recordings (with gobos, is there a DIY how to build them?),and band live recordings with small rockbands.
