The DIY AC thread contains a diagram for a small addition to a free-standing building that contains a standard window AC unit and a duct fan (see diagram). This set up would suit what I need and can afford for my little 10x12x9 backyard edit shack, but I didn't see any posts from people who had actually built it. This little room is for TV audio editing and mixing, not open mic recording at all, and I'm willing to live with a small increase in noise (over the vent fan I already have) to have it cooler in here in the summer. So....did this work for anybody? thanks Philip Perkins
