We are moving our control room to give the studio more depth. The demensions of the room we are moving into are 8foot deep by 20foot long ceiling are angle from 9ft down to 7.5ft.My question is how should i orient my mixing desk to get the best mix.I know i have plenty of acoustic treatment ahead of me but i need to get the best layout for my gear,to get a good mix.On the short wall or on the long or try to go on angle?????????????

Welcome to the forum.
Yup face the short wall, not long, no angle and try to create symmetry in the room.
If ceiling slopes so that it rises along the 20' wall, then face the end with 7.5 high ceiling. Room gets bigger behind mix position.
BE SURE to read the stickies on this forum and the SAE site:

Also: windows. I think, if window is on one short wall, wouldn't it be better to face window, no matter if ceiling rises or drops? -- MarioWelcome to the forum.
