I think I know the answer based on consuming the resource section caulking threads but want to verify. The outside of the studio space is getting 2 sheets of plywood + siding and I want to make sure we're airtight. Is acoustic caulking the best choice for the various nooks and crannies around framing/plates/sheathing? Thanks!
Here's what I had in mind. OSI SC175 in locations indicated in the picture. Let me know if this is a good thing, a bad thing or simply a thing. Thanks as always!!!!!!

That's a good choice - if possible, tho, if cracks are big enough you should first use backer rod (foam) and THEN caulk - somewhere there's a sketch I did showing the whys. Maybe try a search on 2-point or 3-point, altho if it's only in the sketch the words won't register with the search engine... Steve
Thanks Steve! I don't recall seeing any large gaps but I'll do a good survey before pumping goo into the holes. I think I saw the picture you mention is in one of the reference section caulking threads.
