Hello everybody, a friend of mine is going to build a home studio nearly from scratch and has asked me for some help wiyh the design. I have made some designs for him but i´m feeling i´m wasting some space, so i´ll appreciate your input. Mainly, he´ll be using the studio for his own work and ocassionaly he´ll be tracking some instruments (including drums) for commercial projects. He needs a control room and one tracking room. Also, it´s mandatory to leave space for a 9/10m2 room which will be used as storage for the house. The place is located in a garage (what a surprise!), outer walls are 27cm concrete, height is 243cm, floors are also concrete and there are 2 structure pillars causing some problems. Thanks in advance for any help, have a nice day. BTW, i think the car is not to scale!

I'd turn the control room around like this. cheers john

Hi John, thanx for your input. Would the sliding glass wall be an issue in terms of not being geometrically the same as the left wall? Is it something to worry about? Thanx again.
The front has symmetry up to level with your listening position - it doesn't matter if it changes after that. cheers john
