I hope someone here will have some ideas for me. I sold my old house with my 3 year old studio in it. I did that one right. pics at http://www.captivear.com I've searched the city for a rent house that might work and I am a little worried about the one I rented. The new house has a room that is 16' x 14' with 9' ceilings. the floor is hardwood on pier and beam and the walls and ceiling are ship-lap (I think that is what it is called) Basically, boards 12" wide and 1" thick grooves in between them. I am located in Denton Texas. So all wood rooms! If I do anything it has to be temporary and revert to the way it was. Needless to say I really need some advice.
There is a window that looks out onto an enclosed sunporch where I can build a isolation room. I also plan on using the living room 26 x 13 for a live room.
I need to record Mics and DI largely jazz, Singer songwriters etc.
The biggest thing is that i can't sheetrock. I am not to concerned about sound containment, just controlling the ping pong balls.
I have a large number of Real traps and some from another source.
anyone have any suggestions?

How about a drawing?
Are there no doors?
Sorry to be straight up but you will probably not get any answers without this stuff...
