Well its been a long journey. I just built a 30 x 64 garage/studio. 30 x 30 is for recording studio. I just put up my last piece of drywall today. Now tomorrow I will start the mudding process. Hope to have it all done within two weeks. Its killing my 44 year old bones. Im not use to all that lifting, and getting up and down stuff. But anyway I will post some pics when I get a chance. I just felt like I have crossed the summit and its all downhill from here. I feel like a celebration.

Congratulations for the progress! Now, while you're sitting in that massage chair, perhaps you can upload some pictures of this thing! ;-) We love pictures of stuff being built. (Can you tell? :P)
This reminds me of last January or February when I put up my last piece of drywall. Time to start tuning up the guitars. Well, it 9 months later and I'm still working on the place!! (Although I DID have my first official recording session with a client the day before yesterday).
I'm close but I've given up on giving any kind of estimate on when it will be done. It will be finished when it's finished and I'm not going to comprimise on anything just to meet an arbitrary deadline.
I don't mean to pee in your Post Toastees but "doing it right" will ALWAYS leave you happier than "doing it fast." I don't think ANYONE here is going to jump on you for taking more time than you thought if you are trying to do it right.

I have pics. Will post soon. All the mudding is done and primer went on yesterday. Final painting is today. Hopefully carpet will be installed in 3 days. Will move my stuff in when thats done (carpet), and finish the trim work in the next few weeks.
