Hello!
A good friend of mine wants to turn his garage into a studio/practice area. He would like a control room, live room, and maybe a vocal booth.
His Washer/Dryer and Waterheater are all in the garage to the left and right of the door when you walk in. The attic access is in the garage too and the stairs come down toward the washer/dryer. He would like to have this area closed off from the studio. He would like to have the control room to a minimum to allow for more practice space if possible.
Nothing has been started yet, we're in the design phase. The neighbors are probably 10-15 feet away on the garage side.
All of this on a reasonable budget.
I made a sketchup file (my first time using sketchup) with all the dimensions pretty much dead on and I imported models for the washer, dryer, and waterheater. I placed a rectangle floating to signify where the attic will be.
I also included a .gif drawing of the garage.
I appreciate any help with this.
Thanks.
Eric

Welcome to the forum. :)
You'll want to start here. All the points are of critical importance... Especially editing your profile to show a location. Many recommendations are based on this important item.
Also, bear in mind that we're in a three-day holiday weekend here in the U.S., so you may need to be a little more patient than usual.
