Studio Desing...any suggestions? ..I need them.

I have attached a picture of the studio that i will be building soon. The layout is my first attempt, so go easy. I am going to be designing this and building it over the next year or so. I want to have a nice sounding studio, and the best price possible. This will be a new building and i will be doing all of the work myself with a few friends. We will get someone else to poor the concrete slab though. Anyway, i am still at the design stage. Does anyone have any suggestions on what i need to change? If you have an idea for changing the whole layout, that is fine also. If anyone can, what is a rough estimate for a new construction per sq. ft? A rough estimate is all i need so i can come close to my estimate on this project. Thanks for everyones help in advance. Thanks for the link. Is there a thread on his build, or just the construction phases that are on the main page? Also, if there are any new construction studios going up, i could watch their thread also. THanks for your help... Jason

Another question, but this may fall under construction.... Do i double the walls that are next to the hall? I would assume so, but i am not for sure. Thanks jason
